Tree Planting Day

On the 22.02.2022 we planted the first SEAKEL trees with the team at Cloudforests and the Cool Partner Group in CloudForest Three in Doonaha on the beautiful Loop Head Peninsula in County Clare. It was an amazing experience and fantastic to see the start of one of SEAKEL’s forest to offset some of our carbon footprint. Thanks to Bernard Pender and Alan O’Donovan from Cloudforests.ie for organising a great day! Cloudforests create and own unique forests in beautiful locations along Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way.

The trees that SEAKEL are planting are native Irish trees such as Oak, Rowan, Birch and Alder. SEAKEL have committed to gifting the planting of a tree to customers each year to reduce the impact that our company has on the environment, with an initial purchase of 30 trees then 30 trees gifted in December 2021 and a further 30 trees purchased in February 2022 and with many more to plant over the upcoming years.
